I realize it's been a while. Been busy. Been working. Been watched. The usual in this type of field. Thank God for that ominous post outside of HQ. Twitchy's been watching the thing like a hawk trying to decode it, handing pieces of it off to me - pieces, just random pieces. All my data's screwed up. Another reason I haven't written in a while.
I have the bank accounts all assembled. The gentleman in Swedan was incredibly courteous, a little too courteous. No matter. Don't Ask, Don't Tell is the Swedish motto of finances, and he was more than willing to open three accounts. I have every intention of using at least two as ghost accounts, maybe bounce the funds back and forth to throw the Feds off our trail when we leave the country. The US accounts will be encrypted heavily after the initial transfers, rerouted through several bank chains so that by the time the Federal Agencies find the account they were routed to, the money will be in Swedan, and we'll be long gone. This plan is also relient on the robberies, which will also be maintained by encryption codes, ones that Maya will distribute from a device - post Alien Cult Bust. Yes, Maya, I had the luxury of reading your finance reports when they were sent here from CTU. There are very few words that describe the pleasure I feel when I see government funds - funds that the US doesn't even really have at this point, might I add - go to waste on four keggers of beer. I want a video tape of that debriefing. I could sell it online as 'Jack Bauer's Brain Exploding'. I could make millions, and then we could skip all this galavanting to banks across the country.
Anyways - back to business: I've booked four different flights from four different airports the day we leave, each one traceable to a false credit account (just in case the reaction time of any or all Federal Agencies is off - unlikely). It won't guarantee us total anonymity, but it will buy us a few hours, if everything goes according to plan.
I cannot stress the timeline enough. All the money has to wind up in those accounts by the time allotted or else we are royally screwed. The day we leave the country, everything has to be perfect. One setback could destroy everything we've worked for.
Back to the hole.
Sincerely,
J. Sullivan
